Restorative Dentistry Update

Friday, October 10, 2008

Are you confused by the array of materials and techniques available for restorative prcedures? Would you like a quick and concise appraisal from eight well-informed speakers?

This practical continuing dental education program will increase your discernment of contemporary restorative materials and techniques. You will gain an update on: 1) ceramic materials, 2) CEREC, 3) impression & retraction materials, 4) provisionalization, 5) occlusion, 6) complete dentures, 7) implants, and 8) combining removable prosthetics with implants. In addition, you will gain valuable insights from interaction with eight knowledgeable speakers during the panel sessions interspersed throughout the day. The entire staff is invited to attend since everyone will benefit from better understanding of today's restorative materials and techniques.

You will receive answers to the following questions:

  • Which ceramic materials are best and for which clinical procedures are they indicated?
  • Is CAD/CAM dentistry right for you?
  • Which impression and retraction materials and techniques work best for contemporary dentistry?
  • How can you use provisionalization to market your practice?
  • How do you establish vertical dimension and an optimal occlusion?
  • What are your best troubleshooting techniques with complete dentures?
  • What is new with implant surface treatment and interface healing?
  • How can you use implants to simplify your removable prosthetic treatment?
