Pathways to Endodontic Excellence:
A Hands-On Program

Saturday morning, September 27, 2008

Would you like to receive practical hands-on experience with the latest rotary instruments and obturation techniques?

This continuing dental education participation program is designed for dentists who attended the lecture program, Pathways to Endodontic Excellence, but want to go one step further by learning how to apply the concepts and skills introduced by Dr. Joe Maggio. Through hands-on exercises on plastic blocks and extracted teeth, you will have the opportunity to practice using the newest technologies, techniques and materials. You will obtain practical clinical skills that can be easily incorporated into your daily practice and will allow you to deliver excellent endodontic services to your patients.

You will benefit from four hours of hands-on exercises that focus on:

  • canal preparation using a new file for rotary crown down technique.
  • obturation equipment utilizing Resilon for thermoplastic and carrier-based root canal fillings.
  • digital radiography and microscopes.
