Would you like to complete your core competency requirements for Minnesota relicensure in one day? Would you like to receive clinically focused and practical information that you can take back to your office and apply immediately? This timely continuing dental education course will focus on four of the six core competency subject areas defined by the Minnesota Board of Dentistry: 1) Patient Communication, 2) Recordkeeping, 3) Infection Control, and 4) Management of Medical Emergencies. The entire dental team will benefit from obtaining up to date information as well as practical tips, strategies and techniques on matters faced daily in practice. Through illustrated lectures and question and answer sessions you will learn how to: - make dental information understandable and useable for all patients.
- provide your patients with appropriate health information materials and resources.
- recognize, prevent and manage medical emergencies commonly associated with dental treatment.
- insure that your office is in compliance with the latest OSHA regulations and CDC guidelines.
- determine if your dental records are in compliance with Minnesota statues on recordkeeping.
