Core Competency Credit Course

Four Weekend Sessions:
November 9-11, 2007; January 11-13, 2008; February 8-10, 2008; and April 4-6, 2008

Do you find it difficult to keep up with all the new techniques and materials available in restorative and esthetic dentistry today? Would you like practical help with the gamut of choices that you face daily in practice?

Join us for a contemporary, evidence-based, and practical continuing dental education program in esthetic dentistry! Each of the four weekends will feature a major area of esthetic dentistry presented by excellent teachers who are leaders in their fields. In addition, you will gain laboratory experience with a large variety of dental materials and techniques. This in-depth continuing dental education program will give you knowledge and skill that you may apply immediately in your practice. Open to general dentists and specialists worldwide.

Course Instructors
Fifteen exceptional guest speakers were chosen to teach this popular postgraduate program in esthetic dentistry. They are among the most knowledgeable and respected clinicians and teachers in continuing dental education today. The Postgraduate Programs in Esthetic Dentistry: Levels I-III are under the direction of Dr. Paul Olin at the University of Minnesota.

Course Award
Course participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance from the Continuing Dental Education Program after successful completion of the Level I program which includes a written examination.

These esthetic courses are useful in helping to prepare accreditation candidates for achieving the accreditation credentials in cosmetic dentistry. However, successful completion of these courses does not guarantee accreditation.

This program is funded in part by an unrestricted educational grant from 3M ESPE.

Certificate Program in Contemporary Restorative and Esthetic Dentistry

The University of Minnesota is pleased to offer a unique Certificate Program in Contemporary Restorative and Esthetic Dentistry. Dentists may earn both continuing education and university credit when completing the Postgraduate Program in Esthetic Dentistry as university classes.

Tuition/Fees
$5,495

A $595 deposit is due at the time of registration with six additional monthly payments of $835 due on or before:

Tuition includes continental breakfasts, refreshment breaks, lunches, most materials and supplies, and validated parking.
