Endoesthetics--Postgraduate Program in Esthetic Dentistry: Level III

Core Competency Credit Course

Friday-Saturday, March 13-14, 2009

Are your patients seeking more esthetic results after endodontic treatment? Would you like hands-on experience with internal bleaching and bonding fiber posts?

This continuing dental education course will give you practical information and experience with contemporary endodontic techniques. You will learn the latest in: 1) differential diagnosis, 2) retreatment of endodontic failures, 3) treatment of cracked teeth and vertical root fractures, 4) color and bleaching of endodontically treated teeth, and 5) the role of posts and cores in endoesthetics. You will also benefit from hands-on experience with internal bleaching techniques and from laboratory experience with core buildups and bonding fiber posts. The course includes lecture, laboratory experience and round table discussion of cases from your practice.

Experienced clinicians will show you how to:

  • prevent endodontic failures and when to retreat.
  • perform the most effective internal bleaching techniques.
  • apply the latest concepts and techniques in the restoration of endodontically treated teeth.
  • diagnose and treat cracked teeth and vertical root fractures.
  • select the best endoesthetic treatment options for your patients.

Eligibility: This course is open to any dentist who wants more practical experience with endoesthetics and contemporary endodontic techniques. It is also a core module in the Postgraduate Certificate Program in Contemporary Restorative and Esthetic Dentistry.

Patients: A patient is not needed for this module.
