  • develop a comprehensive treatment plan for the patient with facial trauma that includes a sequence for managing hard and soft tissue injuries.
  • identify indications, apply surgical techniques and manage complications for the cosmetic facial surgical patient.
  • describe the standards used in the assessment and treatment of temporomandibular joint disease and facial pain.
  • identify the diagnosis and management of maxillofacial infections, distinguish minor and major infections and determine their consequences.
  • identify indications for local, regional, and microvascular reconstructive techniques for the head and neck.
  • recognize, differentiate and treat oral and maxillofacial pathological conditions.
